"Geo Corde" Hand Embroidered Vintage Army Parka w/ "Beach Ball" Liner

Outer-Heavily repaired Vintage 1960s Army surplus coat with bank collar, heavy industrial zip front with snap closure flap. 2 hip pockets with flaps, lined with wool melton consistent with this style of garment. Drawstring waist, and hem. Geo Corde embroidery inspired by a ruined 19thc overcoat with ombre corde embroidery. The Falls added signature florals, emojis and beaded accents throughout, including glass beaded stars, “ghosts” and asian inspired flowers. 

Inner “beach ball” embellished liner, with brass hoop accents, glass beading along seams and re-worked 1950’s found patchwork squares and added on seam pockets. “Beach ball” giant patchwork motifs on the original quilted liner, which can be worn alone or with the outer coat. It took over 1500 hrs of hand work completed this piece.

The Falls partnered with ALPHA industries for fall/holiday 2025 to rescue, repair and re-work authentic pieces that were not usable as is, and give a second life to.
